This article is intended for schools that import their classes and students from their MIS (see this article if your school uses CSV import).
Take care when removing classes and students. Once a class or student is removed, this is permanent. It isn't possible to restore the class/student, nor any data associated with them.

Before removing a student, they must first be moved to "No Class":
Search for the student by name using the search box at the top of the screen
Click on the 'Details' tab
Select 'No class' from the Class dropdown
Click 'Save'
Once the student is in No Class:
Go to 'Management' β 'Student Manager'
Select the 'No Class' from the class selector at the top of the screen
Tick the student(s) you want to remove
Click 'Remove Student(s)'
Confirm that you'd like to remove the student(s)

Once a class or student is removed, their data cannot be restored. Make sure you want to permanently remove them before proceeding.

Whilst you can re-add a previously deleted student in to Sparx Maths, this will create a new account for them. It won't reinstate any of their homework history nor XP, and they'll need to go through the new account setup process again.
